Thanksgiving is officially "Better With Daniel". Not that there was anything wrong with it before, but I had been concerned that it wouldn't seem special like it had before since I still had to do exactly what I do every other day: take care of the baby and make the food. But that was a silly thing to worry about, because I like doing those things! I didn't get to have the whole day to do whatever I wanted (that's what I used to think was good about holidays), and I would have liked to see the extended family, but it was still a special day because Ben got to stay home with us all day and we got to take things a little slower, play with Daniel, and eat Thanksgiving-y food. And that was actually better than doing whatever I wanted all day. That first picture is of Daniel playing with Ben this morning while I was cooking. D's shirt says 'Cuter Than The Quarterback'. Sorry Aaron Rodgers. We still think you're pretty fantastic.

| Daniel spent much of the morning bouncing while Ben hooked up the TV. Because I wanted to see the Packers. As you may have noticed, there are still boxes everywhere. But we're working on it. |
| TV hook-up success. Keeping baby from seeing TV fail. |

| This is what Ben and I ate. (Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Beans, Sweet Potato Casserole, Cranberry Sauce, and Pumpkin Pecan Praline Pie. All gluten free and dairy free!) |

| He really liked it... |
| ...but I'm still not sure how it ended up inside his nose and smeared across his forehead. |
| Then, once we were all done eating, Daniel had his first ever after-the-Thanksgiving-meal nap and Ben washed the dishes while I had a cup of tea. Thanks Ben! : ) |
