Playdate!
A long awaited meeting has finally occurred! Our IVCF small group of four years had our first get together with the new babies. Yes, plural. : ) Two new babies three days apart. And now that they are both 2 months old they finally get to see each other.
| Heather with baby Allison, and me with baby Daniel. |
| Oh, hi! |
It was fun to have another family that was right about at the same place we were all during the pregnancy, and it was even more fun to get the babies together and see if they noticed each other. It took a little while, but eventually they did. Allison responded with polite chatter. Daniel stared at her hair, grabbed her shirt and squeaked.
A: Hello
D: Hello.
A: Please let go of my shirt.
D: I'm trying, but I have very little hand control. Nice hair.
A: Thank you. So, how are you liking life so far?
D: *stares at hair*
A: Hello? Daniel?
D: *stares at hair*
A: Daniel?
D: Oh sorry. Nice hair.
A: You already said that.
D: Oh. Sorry.
A: Want to hold hands?
D: I'm trying, but I have very little hand control.
And for those of you who heard the background dialogue and are wondering what Heather's Mom did, she painted Allison's toenails. Sorry I don't have a picture of that. You'll just have to trust me that she did a nice job and it was very cute.

It was so much fun to see both babies interact! It was a joy to watch you both go through your pregnancies and then now, to get to see the results! Hooray!
