Some Assembly Required
After approximately three hours of wrestling with the assembly instructions and unwieldy frames of our stroller and car seat set, Ben and I have determined that we are not smart enough to have children. Or at least not smart enough to ever take them anywhere. Like home from the hospital.
We did eventually get the car seat installed, hopefully properly, and Yoda does add some nice flair to the interior of our otherwise ordinary vehicle. Our only hope is that when we go to our class tonight we find out it took everyone else at least four hours. Then we will leave all smug and thinking we're not so unskilled after all. Until we have to set up the crib.

you had the baby! i can't decide who he favors. which one of you has three toes? he has such big pretty eyes!
don't worry about how unskilled you feel now. i think half the point of God allowing us to have children is to show us just how little we know!

I was hoping my first grandchild would be a little less green. Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait for the second one.
And if you think strollers and car seats are scary just wait till you have to taech one how to drive. :-)
